THE JOURNEY OF BEEFY MOTOWED

Part I
Stuck In A Rut

Beefy Motowed lived on a small blue planet with a bright shinny sun. The name of the planet was Motowed and everyone living there had the last name of Motowed. Beefy pretty much had a routine of getting up in the morning, doing his morning exercises and then eating lunch and supper. Then Beefy went to bed. Beefy knew that he lived a life that had no meaning and it never changed for many years.


One day as Beefy was exercising by bending over and touching his toes, he noticed a giant snowball in the sky. It seemed to be heading to crash into a distant region but, the snowball became bigger and bigger as it approached the Motowed world.


Beefy turned to run back to his house but, it was too late. The Motowed world shook as the giant snowball smashed into the little blue planet. Suddenly, the sky turned white with snow then dirt and stones and even flower petals came raining down all over. As time went on the rain became thicker, blocking much of the sunlight. With the sun gone planet Motowed became a very cold place to live. The sudden disaster had changed the life of Beefy Motowed.



Part II
Looking For A Home

As the sunlight disappeared Beefy decided to leave his little blue world which was now covered with snow and dirt. He decided to head over to the used spacecraft lot to see if he might get a deal. Beefy did not have a lot of money and he had borrowed too much money to buy his house so his credit was very bad. He did have some credit left on his Motowed Galactic Credit Card but, he hated to use it since the interest rate was nearly 2% each snapdragon cycle. (On planet Motowed time was kept by the hatching of the snapdragons. Snapdragons hatched out every spring and that was considered the beginning of the New Year.)


Beefy looked at several spaceships. He looked at rocket ships, space shuttles and finally settled on a nice little saucer that had never been driven beyond the Milky Way Galaxy.


Beefy’s new spaceship was a small silver saucer but was plenty large enough to accommodate Beefy. The saucer was a little hard to drive at first since Beefy had trouble learning how to operate a stick shift. Once Beefy got the hang of driving his saucer he was soon leaving planet Motowed behind.


Beefy traveled past several solar systems. Most of them had hot molten surfaces. Beefy did not like really hot places anymore then he liked cold ones. Finally, Beefy came across a planet which reminded him of Motowed. It was really blue but had more land masses than Motowed.



Part III
Earth People Can't Fly

Beefy had a navigational system that told him the planet he was nearing was called earth. Motowed looked up Earth on his computer. The computer said that although Earth had many different forms of life; humans were the predominate creatures. Humans were primitive and did not know how to travel very far out into space. This gave Beefy and idea to make a lot of money. Maybe he could start a spaceship manufacturing company on Earth and make enough money to pay off his debts on Motowed.


Beefy landed his spaceship and was soon popular the world over as the first visitor from outer space. Motowed also built a very lucrative spaceship business and soon had lots of money. Beefy paid off all his old debts and married the most beautiful model on planet Motowed. Her name was Isosceles Motowed. Isosceles was as smart as she was beautiful and her conversation was always to the point. Beefy always wanted to marry a girl that was to the point. Isosceles was also the kind of girl who could look equally at two different sides to any issue.



Part IV
When Bad Things Work Out Well

Before Beefy and Isosceles were married, Beefy had become so rich from his spaceship business that he eventually was able to clean up the atmosphere of his old planet. The sunlight warmed planet Motowed and all the snow from the giant snowball melted away into the warm blue oceans.


Beefy and Isosceles were married on planet Earth and then went on a round the galaxy cruise on a giant star liner called the B M S Snowball. The B M S Snowball was named after the giant snowball that hit planet Motowed and changed the life of Beefy Motowed in a very positive way. For although the giant snowball started out as a disaster it turned out to be just the thing Beefy Motowed needed to get Beefy out of a rut and get him to do something drastic and wonderful with his life.
